Since 2009 Natural Pod has been producing made-to-order, heirloom-quality, sustainable furniture in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. We’re growing our remote team and looking for a kind, values-driven, self-motivated Inside Sales & Operations Coordinator.

Administrative Support is a key member of Natural Pod’s team. You’ll be responsible for project nurturing at various stages. As an integral member of the team, you demonstrate initiative, have a ‘can do’ attitude, are creative around ideas and forth coming with solutions. The person we are looking to join our team is structured but flexible, curious but not a ’know it all’, eager but patient. You want to learn. You are respectful.

We’re a small and nimble team, we make decisions quickly, work remotely but collaboratively, and value feedback and input to improve our processes. You’ll fit in well if you love details, taking action, keeping up-to-date records, documenting changes and important steps, and thrive on providing excellent customer service.

In addition to conducting the accountabilities below, you’ll have an opportunity to work with and develop the inside sales process for Natural Pod. You’ll provide sales support to other team members working closely with all members of our Operations and Sales Teams.

Working from home, we offer a competitive salary and health benefits. This position would be best filled by someone available 30-40 hours each week, within 0800-1800 PST, Monday through Friday.

Specific Accountabilities for success:

Operations

  • Administrative support for Operations team 
  • Maintain and updating the CRM
  • Coordinates shipping and installations 
  • Manages and implements our Customer Service platform

Sales

  • Administrative support for sales team
  • Support with incoming sales inquiries
  • Manage your individual pipeline of opportunities
  • Handles incoming inquiries, emails and phone calls
  • Loves our CRM tool, maintains high data integrity
  • Maintaining bid sites

Our favourite applicants will be from any background, gender, planet or age, but we may prioritize those who have experience working remotely, and with customer service as an important centre to their work. We value attitude and other personality traits over specific experience, although we do seek to find someone who can jump in and support us as soon as possible.

Ideally this candidate is based in the Vancouver/Victoria, BC, Canada area but we’re open to other locations based on experience and ability to work remotely. This is a full time position.
