Turning Care into Change: Natural Pod at Champions Retreat 2026

Designing for a Regenerative Future

At Natural Pod, we believe that when we design spaces with care, we create the conditions for everyone to contribute their best work. This principle guides our presence at the 2026 B Corp Champions Retreat in Milwaukee, where we are bringing our values to life through both visionary dialogue and intentional physical space.

Thought Leadership: From Ripples to Waves

The Opening Plenary: A Ripple Story with Bridgitte Alomes. Our CEO + Founder, Bridgitte Alomes, takes the mainstage to share a “Ripple Story” rooted in the 2026 theme: Ripples to Waves. Bridgitte will explore the profound impact of intentionality—how a single, child-centered space can spark a wave of inclusivity that welcomes new perspectives and reshapes how we lead and care for the next generation. Learn more about the Opening Plenary.

The Case for Caregiving: Building Thriving Businesses and Communities Hosted by Ashanti Bryant of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, this session explores caregiving as essential social infrastructure. Featuring insights from Molly Day (Moms First), Austen McEnaney (NationSwell), Meg Wheeler Derrer (Refugee Education Center), and Natural Pod’s own Bridgitte Alomes, we discuss the proactive role businesses play in creating pathways for all leaders to stay engaged and present. This session provides a framework for weaving care into the heart of organizational DNA.

Intergenerational Changemakers: Cultivating the Next Wave of Leadership This panel discussion connects today’s B Corp leaders with the voices of the future, featuring Dr. Ileana Albareda (Green Schools National Network), Chelsea Malacara (Milwaukee Public Schools), Daniel Joglar (Forward Together Wisconsin), and student leader Camilah DeLeon (Milwaukee Public Schools). Alongside Bridgitte Alomes, the group explores the role of business as a platform for advocacy, highlighting how authentic co-design with students and communities fosters the long-term health and well-being of the next generation.

Natural Pod's childcare space at the Champions Retreat 2024

A Sustainable Sanctuary for Families

Our thought leadership is anchored by the physical Childcare Space at the Baird Center. We are supporting the retreat by providing a nature-inspired, sustainable environment that invites the youngest members of our community to thrive while their parents engage fully in the conference experience.

  • Intentional Design: Outfitted with our signature FSC®-certified, sustainable wood furniture, the space features open-ended elements that encourage creativity and collaboration.
  • Safety & Beauty: With curved edges and calming, natural aesthetics, the environment demonstrates that the spaces where we do our most important work can be thoughtfully designed for children, too

We aim for every child to learn and play in healthy, beautiful, sensory-inspired environments. At the Champions Retreat, we are reimagining what it looks like to bring your whole self—and your family—to the movement.
