As a Principal, Craig knew that the classroom environments play a huge factor into how the children’s learning is shaped. If you are sitting in a row all day, and have all your work in one spot, what is that really saying about the learning piece when you need to be up, collaborative and sharing your ideas. Craig and his team knew they needed a change, they wanted to provide innovation.
Sometimes we have been in schools too long, and when you look at start-up companies, they are creating the space for inspiration. We wanted that for our teachers and for our children. Environments like this provide the self-regulation and the freedom to implement the skills we are asking them to through enquiry.
