Even during these uncertain times, maybe even more so, I feel it’s important to celebrate the good moments as they come along. This week the BCBusiness Women of the Year Awards were announced. Of course, it was not at their planned award event, so for now I didn’t get to connect with the other finalists as I’d hoped, but I’m still delighted to celebrate the achievements of these inspiring women and particularly to congratulate the winners.
The awards spanned the categories of Leader, Entrepreneurial Leader, Innovator, Community Builder, Change Maker and Rising Star, and for me it’s been fascinating to learn more about such diverse industries, businesses and how communities are being served across the province. I feel very honoured to have been a finalist and included with this group of innovative, creative women. I know as we all navigate these present extraordinary times we’re trying to stay focused on the good work we’re doing, and support each other along the way.
