I would love for you to join me and my co-panelists at SXSW EDU for our session ‘Sustainability & Social Justice in K-12 Schools’. It’s sure to be an insightful, interactive and lively discussion.
Date: Monday March 9th
Time: 2:00 – 3:00pm
Location: Hilton Downtown Austin, 500 E 4th St, Floor: 6, Salon J
Creating a culture of sustainability can instill joy and optimism at all levels in a K-12 school district. A commitment to sustainability from leadership can save costs and reduce ecological impacts; and enhance social, emotional, and physical health of all who work, learn and play in our schools. However, the potential impact on social justice is often overlooked. Join us to explore the benefits and barriers to implementing a framework at the intersection of leadership, environment and equity.
I’m deeply honoured and very excited to be part of this session co-presenting with these three extraordinary people. You can access their full stories and why they are such education heroes here:
